As part of the No More Heroes collaboration event, the Beam Katana was purchasable from the Hernia for 20. The event period was 11/14/2018 – 1/16/2019.

Despite the name, it is a Machete-type weapon, not a Katana-type weapon.

Notes

• Much like Meijin says, the Machete's R2/L2 attacks are easy to use, good range, speed and hard to avoid.
• The Jungle Machete is good weapon to help you get through floors 11 - 20
• The Cross Buster, unlocked at mastery rank 10, is a jumping slice that is a little hard to aim and is slow for this weapon, but does great damage and causes a lot of hitstun.
• The Rage move, Final Stroke, is a short range stab that does a good amount of damage.

		Machetes are Pretty Decent You found a Machete weapon? Nice one, those things are easy to use. Good reach, decent power... and the 3-hit combo is easy to time. Up your Mastery Level and you can increase the combos and learn a flying attack! Overpowered, really.
