Fighters battle through a treacherous tower obtaining various types of weapons and armor while finding beasts and mushrooms to eat in order to stay alive. Upon death, a player’s "death data" is then circulated among other player’s games where they will appear as formidable opponents. The sharing of "death data" is one of the various asynchronous multiplayer elements that can be found in the game.

Players can also purposefully send their deceased characters into other player's worlds for benefits.

Players can sell or upgrade items found in the Tower of Barbs in the Waiting Room

Combat[edit | edit source]

Players can attack with their left or right hand.

Players can block.

Players can aim when using ranged weapons.

Players can drop-kick enemies if they do a sprinting attack.

If players fill up their rage-bar, they can unleash powerful rage attacks. The rage bar can hold 3 fillings.

If the player brings an enemy down to low health, it may stagger. In that moment, the player can execute a powerful finisher which awards extra Kill Coins or Items.

Tips[edit | edit source]

When on fire, rolling helps to put it out faster

Always remember that you can roast your mushroom items (most, not all.) To do this, you press the left touchpad and move toward the fire and you will see a prompt at the bottom of the screen telling you to press X. Alternatively, you can also press the touchpad when near the fire and it should roast your item, although it can be a bit dangerous as you may catch on fire. Doing this will increase the benefits of them. Also another funky little tidbit, you can cancel the roasting animation by pressing the left pad as soon as you roast your item.
