Fighters battle through a treacherous tower obtaining various types of weapons and armor while finding beasts and mushrooms to eat in order to stay alive. Upon death, a player’s "death data" is then circulated among other player’s games where they will appear as formidable opponents. The sharing of "death data" is one of the various asynchronous multiplayer elements that can be found in the game.

Players can also purposefully send their deceased characters into other player's worlds for benefits.

Tips[ | ]

When on fire, rolling helps to put it out faster

Always remember that you can roast your mushroom items (most, not all.) To do this, you press the left touchpad and move toward the fire and you will see a prompt at the bottom of the screen telling you to press X. Alternatively, you can also press the touchpad when near the fire and it should roast your item, although it can be a bit dangerous as you may catch on fire. Doing this will increase the benefits of them. Also another funky little tidbit, you can cancel the roasting animation by pressing the left pad as soon as you roast your item.
